The wait is over, and Marvel's Spider-Man is now available on Sony PlayStation 4 consoles across the globe. Not only that, but PlayStation have today (September 7) also released their stunning Limited Edition Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 Pro Bundle, which includes a fully customised Amazon Red 1TB PS4 Pro console, featuring the iconic Marvel's Spider-Man spider, as well as a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller, the new Marvel's Spider-Man game on Blu-ray disc, and digital content.
The PS4 Pro allows 4K TV owners to experience games such as Marvel's Spider-Man in 2160p dynamic 4K resolution. HD TV owners will benefit from Marvel's Spider-Man's built-in supersampling with increased image clarity and detail.
Telling a brand new Spider-Man story that's not tied to an existing comic book arc or movie, Marvel's Spider-Man has already been hailed for covering all aspects of the titular character, including Peter Parker as well as the webslinger.
An official prequel book for the game was also released a little earlier this year, called Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover and written by David Liss. The book details Spidey's fight with Blood Spider.
