Gamers can play 'LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens' as J.J. Abrams.
The director of the first movie in the rebooted franchise appears in the new game, which was released this week, sporting a camcorder on his back, Digital Spy reports.
Lucasfilm President, Kathleen Kennedy, can also be seen in the game.
Earlier this year, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed that as well as recreating the plot of the film there are six new adventures which expand the storyline of the sci-fi blockbuster.
One level sees Han Solo - Harrison Ford's alter ego - and Chewbacca go Rathtar Hunting, a mission which was referenced in the movie.
Included in the other levels are Lor San Tekka's Return, which allows players to uncover the secrets behind Lor San Tekka's journey to the Jakku Village, and Poe to the Rescue, which shows the X-wing pilot's mission to save Admiral Ackbar.
The other missions are Crimson Corsair, Ottegan Assault and Trouble Over Taul, which will appease fans as it will show how gold droid C-3PO acquires his new red arm.
As well as Ford and Abrams, the gaming experience will come to life with voiceovers by the theatrical cast, including Daisy Ridley who plays Rey, John Boyega (Finn) and Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), and features key lines from the film's script.
'LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 Xbox 360, PS Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Windows PC.
