The upcoming action-adventure video game - which is being developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K - has announced the full licensed soundtrack that will be used in the title, including 35 songs from legendary jazz artists such as Duke Ellington and Cab Calloway.

The full track list contains 16 songs by Duke Ellington, four by Cab Calloway, five by Django Reinhardt, and a handful of others from artists including Louis Armstrong, Lionel Hampton, Harry James, Hal Kemp, and Guy Lombardo.

The release of the track list comes just over a week before the title is due to launch on September 25, and days before 2K and Hangar 13 plan to share the third of four planned videos highlighting various aspects of 'Mafia: Definitive Edition'.

The companies have already shown players a sneak peek of the game's rebuilt setting of the City of Lost Heaven, as well as giving an insight into the game's overhauled driving and shooting mechanics.

And in the upcoming video set to be released on Thursday (17.09.20), fans will get to see the campaign's missions in action, before a final video on September 23 explores how the game's soaring orchestral score came together in the midst of a global pandemic.

'Mafia: Definitive Edition' is a comprehensive, built-from-the-ground-up remake of the original 'Mafia', which was released for the Playstation 2, the Xbox, and Windows PC systems in 2002.

The remake features an updated script filled with rich new dialogue, expanded backstories, and additional cutscenes, as well as all-new gameplay sequences and features, best-in-class cinematics, a re-recorded orchestral score, and other enhancements.

'Mafia: Definitive Edition' will launch on September 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
