Lindsay Lohan's lawsuit against the creators of 'Grand Theft Auto' can proceed, a court has ruled.

The 29-year-old actress previously filed a case against Take-Two Interactive and it's subsidiary Rockstar, claiming that the character Lacey Jonas in 'Grand Theft Auto V' was modelled on her without her permission, but legal proceedings have been stalled for two years.
New York Supreme Court judge Joan Kennedy has now decided that the evidence from defendants isn't sufficient to have the case thrown out, an action for which they'd previously filed a motion.
The ruling said: "Defendants have not been able to prove, at this juncture of the litigation, that the republication exemption to the one year statute of limitations is not applicable to this case because the intended audiences were the same as those of the original publication and the images consistently remained the same."
Voice actor Ned Luke, the man behind main character Michael has slammed the legal decision.
Tweeting a picture of a 'GTA5' cow, he wrote: "It's a stretch but MAYBE there's a resemblance #LindsayIsNuts (sic)"
Rockstar previously claimed the 'Mean Girls' star filed her case "for publicity purposes" when they asked for the case to be dismissed.
They have also insisted the character - a Hollywood diva escaping from paparazzi - is similar to Lindsay only in that they are both young blonde women.
