Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have today (March 23) revealed the first official gameplay trailer for their forthcoming game and adaptation, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Brand new features will be coming to the game, including:

  • Blaster Battles - Players will be able to engage in intense Blaster Battles where they'll be able to seek cover behind nearby objects in a first for a LEGO game. They'll then be able to pop out from the safety to fight with blaster fire.
  • Multi-Builds - The new enhanced build system will allow players to choose from multiple building options, solving a puzzle or advancing the game in different ways. In another first for a LEGO game, the same pile of bricks will be able to be manipulated in a variety of ways, with rebuilds available for different purposes.
  • Flight Gameplay - High-speed, action-packed flight gameplay will allow gamers to pilot iconic vehicles such as the Millennium Falcon through arena-based battles and dogfights in space.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC via Steam on June 28.
