Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have confirmed today that some huge franchises will be joining the LEGO Dimensions game's roster, including The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Portal, Jurassic World, Midway Arcade, LEGO Chima and Scooby Doo.

Combining these fan-favourite worlds - many of which have never before been in a LEGO videogame - will see them converge with previously announced DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, The Wizard of Oz, LEGO Ninjago and Back to the Future worlds in one huge, thrilling adventure.
Gamers can get involved by purchasing the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack from September 29, and those who hope to customise their experience can buy add-ons such as Level Packs, Team Packs and Fun Packs all based on the fourteen included brands. These will provide new buildable characters, gadgets and vehicles as well as extra game content with fresh abilities and mission-based levels. All of the expansion packs available will provide the opportunity to use everything interchangeably at any point throughout the game.
A new trailer also revealed that players can physically build every LEGO vehicle and gadget available to them, and then rebuild them twice for a total of three different objects that all do entirely different things, adding huge variety. After earning a building achievement, players can then get in-game instructions that show them how to use the same bricks to rebuild vehicles and gadgets into different objects.
Launching on September 29, LEGO Dimensions will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and the Wii U.
