KFC has designed the ultimate gaming seat, The Colonel's Couch.
The fast food chain has created a sofa with holders for a chicken bucket, chips and sauces and four soft drink dispensers, wet wipes and even the gravy fountain of dreams, perfect for dipping.
KFC has created The Colonel's Couch to encourage the UK's 33.5 million gamers to get together with friends and family to play their consoles rather than play on their own.
Having identified a 500 per cent rise in social conversations over the last three years surrounding the disappointment over the decline of split-screen gaming, KFC, famous for bringing people together over a bucket of Original Recipe chicken, is attempting to unite friends over their mutual love for KFC and gaming.
The unveiling of The Colonel's Couch marks the launch of gaming tournament KFC Vs on Sunday November 27.
The event will see major grime artists including Big Narstie, D Double E, P Money and Novelist come face-to-face with gaming legends Ali A, Clare, Mini Minter and JMX.
Revealing the inspiration behind The Colonel's Couch, Josh Benge - Social Media Manager at KFC UK & Ireland - said: "We believe gaming is an occasion that should be shared with friends, so we've built The Colonel's Couch as the ultimate way to bring people together, and bring back those friendly rivalries. We're excited to put it to the test this Sunday for our first KFC Vs event - Gamers vs Grime - where some of the biggest names on the scene will be going head-to-head. In the future, we want to see everyone from sports stars to fans at home rising to the challenge and battling it out on the couch."
