Joe Taslim is a huge fan of the 'Mortal Kombat' gaming franchise.
That is according to Josh Lawson, who plays the part of Kano in the 'Mortal Kombat' film.
Asked which of the film's cast knew most about the iconic gaming franchise, Josh told NME: "I think easily it was Joe."
He subsequently revealed that his co-star loves the franchise and is often found playing the games in his hotel room.
Josh added: "Joe Taslim legitimately knows everything about 'Mortal Kombat'. Everything. He would play it, he had the game in his hotel room."
Joe previously admitted that joining the 'Mortal Kombat' film represented a dream come true for himself.
He also revealed a special link between his real-life self and on-screen character.
Speaking about his casting, the actor - who was a member of Indonesia's judo national team between 1997 and 2009 - recently explained: "They came with the offer straight away to ask me to play Sub-Zero, and it was a crazy coincidence because I played Sub-Zero (as a videogame player) when I was a kid.
"I’m a huge fan of the character because he’s just so cool. And I won a lot."
