Described as a "potent nexus of arcane energies", Karazhan is the latest location Blizzard's Hearthstone will be visiting, with the famous wizard Medivh using all the magic at his disposal to set up "the most lavish and extravagant party of all time".
Inviting players to join him along with the "crème de la crème of Azeroth and beyond", an eclectic mix of attendees guarantees that this is going to be a party like no other.
The latest adventure to the Hearthstone series will see a bunch of new cards once again added to the game, as players are challenged to make their way through four wings packed full of challenging bosses, unexpected twists and a lot of mayhem. Legendary cards will also be up for grabs, whilst rewards will go to those brave enough to take on the class challenges.
A new game board is available and new portal spell cards mean magic and random minions could be summoned to the field at any point. It's going to be a unique and bumpy ride!
Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment comments: "One Night in Karazhan will give players the chance to party with Medivh while earning some great new cards for their collections.
"We're excited to reimagine one of Azeroth's most beloved locations in Hearthstone, and we can't wait to see players put their new decks to the test."
Once arriving at the party, gamers will soon realise Medivh has gone missing, leaving his collection of arcane objects to run amok through the castle and the player to clean things up with his trusted butler Moroes.
One Night in Karazhan will be available on August 12 on Windows and Mac PCs; Windows, iOS and Android tablets, and iOS and Android mobile phones.
Each wing of the adventure will open through four weeks, with the full adventure available in the in-game shop for £13.99 on PC/Mac/Android or £14.99 on iOS. Each wing can also be purchased for 700 gold or £4.99 each, or in discounted bundles depending on how many wings may already have been purchased.
Upon release all players are able to play a prologue mission for free and earn two brand new cards. Those who purchase the adventure in full during its first week of release will also receive a special Karazhan-themed card back.
