Hearthstone fans are being encouraged to go exploring with the game's new expansion, The League of Explorers - an all new adventure sending duelists on expeditions to recover a mysterious lost relic.
Dastardly villains will have to be taken down if gamers want to progress through the adventure, and CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment, Mike Morhaime is promising a lot from the expansion.
"League of Explorers is a fun mix of memorable locations from Warcraft and exciting new locations to battle through," he explains.
"Players who join the expedition are in for a good time and will walk away with some great new cards for their collections."
Four adventurers will be introduced to players in the game - Elise Starseeker, Reno Jackson, Sir Finley Mrrgglton and Brann Bronzebeard - as a journey through unique destinations is navigated.
The Temple of Orsis, Uldaman, the Ruined City and the Hall of Explorers are just some of the places those who venture into the expansion will come across.
A whopping 45 new cards will be available to players as rewards for progressing through the separate levels, and new tactics will be brought to the game in villainous battles.
Available from Friday, November 13 on Windows and Mac PC; Windows, iOS and Android tablets; and iOS and Android mobile phones, League of Explorers will cost £13.99 (PC/Mac/Android) or £14.99 (iOS) for the full expansion.
One location can be bought at a time for £4.99 each or 700 gold, or in discounted bundles based on past purchases.
