The 73-year-old actor has lent his voice to the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment title, which recreates the plot of the film and features six new adventures to expand the storyline of the sci-fi blockbuster.

The game - released on Tuesday (28.06.16) - also features voiceovers by the theatrical cast, including Daisy Ridley who plays Rey, John Boyega (Finn) and Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), and key lines from the film's script.

One level sees Han Solo - Ford's alter ego - and Chewbacca go Rathtar Hunting, a mission which was referenced in the movie.

Included in the other levels are Lor San Tekka's Return, which allows players to uncover the secrets behind Lor San Tekka's journey to the Jakku Village, and Poe to the Rescue, which shows the X-wing pilot's mission to save Admiral Ackbar.

The other missions are Crimson Corsair, Ottegan Assault and Trouble Over Taul, which will appease fans as it will show how gold droid C-3PO acquires his new red arm.

'LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 Xbox 360, PS Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Windows PC.

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 players will have access to exclusive downloadable content, the Droid Character Pack and the Phantom Limb Level Pack.
