To celebrate the release today (May 13) of DOOM, Bethesda teamed up with Australian chainsaw artist Rob Bast to bring one of the game's most iconic demons to life - the Revenant.

Standing at 8 feet tall, the sculpture will be exhibited from today at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) located in Federation Square, Melbourne.
Though the chainsaw is a key addition to the DOOM Marine's arsenal, Rob brought his own saws to recreate the fearsome villain, with the sculpture made entirely from recycled sustainable cypress wood.
Taking almost 150 hours to create, the journey Rob took can be seen in the video below:
