Donald Trump shared a video that likened him to an evil racist video game overlord.
The 69-year-old Republican Presidential hopeful retweeted the video made by one of his fans.
The clip with the message "Make America Great Again" shared by user @immigrant4trump, used the soundtrack and voice of the Illusive man, a racist who hates aliens and whose misguided prejudices almost result in the end of all life on the planet.
The character, voiced by West Wing's Martin Sheen, first appeared in 'Mass Effect 2' and talks about humanity being "under attack" and "one specific man" being its only saviour.
However, game publisher EA (Electronic Arts) have complained and Donald's tweet has been removed.
In its place reads the message: "This Tweet from @realDonaldTrump has been withheld in response to a report from the copyright holder".
Speaking to the Game Informer website, EA confirmed that they judged the video as an unauthorised used of their intellectual property.
The said: "The video was an unauthorised use of our IP,
"We do not support our assets being used in political campaigns."
'Mass Effect' game designer Manveer Heir tweeted his thoughts about the video saying it is was "gross".
Yesterday (04.04.16), he wrote: "TFW Donald Trump retweets campaign propaganda that uses music and voiceover from a game you worked on #gross
"I love the idea that Trump may think he's the Illusive Man, who is verifiably the bad guy in the game
"TIL that I should "learn what Fair Use is" (because you know I'm obviously the lawyer who decided to get the Trump Effect pulled) (sic)"
