'Daytona USA' is now playable on Xbox One's backwards compatibility.
The SEGA arcade racing classic game, which was released on Xbox 360 back in October 2011, is now available for the small price of £6.75.
The blurb explains: "Based on the classic arcade title, 'Daytona USA' features enhanced graphics, tracks for all skill levels, and the original, hit soundtrack!
Save your quarters - we're bringing the arcade straight to your living room with steering wheel and multiplayer support. Challenge your friends with up to eight player online races or the whole world via Xbox LIVE leader-boards!"
Joining 'Daytona' are 'Stacking' and 'Tower Bloxx Deluxe'.
It comes following the news that 'Daytona 3 Championship USA' is to hit arcades by the end of March with the possibility of up to eight players racing against each other.
The Japanese video game publisher's new coin-op racer - a sequel to the original acclaimed 1993 stock car simulation - was unveiled at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) expo in Orlando to much acclaim.
The cabinets will soon be seen in amusement centres all over the world and CEO of Sega Amusements International Paul Williams has revealed they will be the option for competitive racing for multiple players.
In an interview with T3, he said: "'Daytona 3 will be out by the end of the month, so in a very short time from now ... The game is now done and ready to ship. 'Daytona 3' will be linked up from two to eight machines, and it will be available as single machine too, being distributed in the USA and Europe in the sit down version."
Williams also assured gamers that the design of the arcade machine's seat is a vast improvement on the original cabinet, which was much maligned by players.
He said: "I cannot disclose too much about the design of the final version [of the seat] but trust me that it is a really huge improvement."
Once the game was completed, Williams was confident that Sega had a great title ready to hit the arcades but even he was shocked by the reaction to 'Daytona 3' at the IAAPA expo.
He said: "Being a professional trade show you do not usually see many people playing the games, however, this time was different. With 'Daytona 3 Championship USA' the game was always busy with operators from all around the world wanting to play the game, and by the feedback and the orders we already received I can already say it is a big success. Sincerely having bet on it, I knew it was a great game, that it was extremely appreciated by gamers and operators, but I did not imagine the reactions would have been so good, especially after such a long period of time elapsing from its first chapter back in 1994!"
The game features a re-modelled Daytona International Speedway track from the original game as well as three new tracks. The machine will also have a Live TV feature so bystanders can watch the race as it happens.
'Daytona USA' is one of the highest-grossing arcade titles of all-time and was successfully ported onto the Sega Saturn home console, albeit with some graphics issues including noticeable clipping.
Sega followed up the game with new arcade title 'Daytona USA 2' in 1998.
