'Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier' allows gamers to play as either a human or a simian.
The much-anticipated new video is being developed with the help of Hollywood star Andy Serkis and he has given fans of the film franchise an insight into what they can expect when the new title launches later this year.
Andy said: "We are committed to exploring and expanding next-generation storytelling, and 'Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier' represents an exciting marriage of technology and creativity, all set in a rich universe of which I am very proud."
Andy's The Imaginarium Studios has been working on the new title with FoxNext Games.
And the actor, who plays the role of Caesar in the money-spinning movie franchise, recently revealed his reaction to discovering his on-screen character would die in 'War for the Planet of the Apes', which was released earlier this year.
Speaking to the New York Times newspaper, Andy previously said: "[Director] Matt Reeves told me the whole story about two and a half years ago when we talked about making this movie. The film that you see is very close to what he said then, and what he wanted to happen.
"He felt Caesar should be a seminal figure in the story of the apes' evolution, a Moses-like character. So I knew from the word go that this was going to be his fate."
