Gabrielle Aplin is an English songwriter from Sutton Benger, Wiltshire. She became Youtube famous when she started posting videos of her playing her guitar and coverings songs by famous bands like Paramore and You Me at Six.
After leaving school she attended City Bath College to study music and participated in the college’s in-house label BA1 Records.
In July 2010, she performed at her local radio station and she then released her first EP. She created two other EP’s, Never Fade and Home before releasing her debut album in 2013.
Aplin signed with Parlophone records in 2012 and announced that Never Fade Records which was originally launched so that she could release her own music is now open to represent other musicians.
Her debut album English Rain was released on the 13th of May 2013 and has charted at number 2 on both the UK and Scotland music charts.
