Summer holidays may be coming to an end, but we still need some fresh ideas on how to keep the kids happy - and that usually means food.
For a sweet treat, why not take the family for a delicious meal at TGI Fridays and try out the cool, children’s dessert menu?
For all the wannabe Willy Wonkers, Friday’s has created fun and interactive desserts to excite younger guests, including the ‘Fairground Sundae’ with candy floss and mini donuts and the ‘Sweet Shop Sundae’ which comes with popping candy and allows kids to build their own dessert.
Other tasty treats include sticky sweet Chocolate Brownie with fresh strawberries, real dairy ice cream and chocolate sauce. Not forgetting the old favourite, the 99 Sundae – scoops of real dairy ice cream with chocolate or strawberry sauce and a mini flake.
Milk & Cookies is classically American - three Oreo® biscuits served with an old fashioned milk bottle filled with either strawberry or chocolate milk. Or for fruity fun try the Fruit Cup – two scoops of frozen orange sorbet with fresh fruit.
Terry McDowell, Head Chef at T.G.I. Friday’s, said: “Family time is important and the summer holidays are a period when you can spend quality days out together. At Friday’s we want to help you create happy memories so come and drop into one of our restaurants and treat the kids to one of our fun, tasty and interactive desserts – they’ll be spoilt for choice!”.
