Well hello and welcome to Teisseire Sirop France's 'best kept secret'.
It's a little gem that France and much of Europe have known about for many years but is only now available as of May in the UK and wow how it can stir something up .
Teisseire is a sirop that can add that something special to a drink to give it the wow factor. I first sampled it on a trip to Paris on the Euro star.
I was given what I thought was a glass of sparkling a water infused with lemon it was called sparkling citron really refreshing and cleaned the palette, but had a bit of a kick the more you drank , but I really enjoyed it.
Next - well what can I say my favourite a pink champagne well regular champagne with strawberry Teisseire, this had to be one of my favourites , until we were taken off to restaurant Port 12 to be served a selection of drinks with the Teisserie Sirop's .
On arrival I was given the most refreshing drink ever , I could tell by the colour it was pink grapefruit but I didn't know it had a gin and tonic in it and not being a gin drinker myself couldn't believe how nice it was and I was definitely up for second one, but I knew we had others to try and held back but I definitely have it on my shopping list now.
We were spoilt in this fabulous exclusive restaurant hidden away in the back streets of Paris called the Porte 12 restaurant spectacular presentation from our starter to desert with every accompany dish came a different drink specially prepared using the Teisseire ranges
After our meal and a quick shopping trip for the obvious cheese and wine to take back then on to a quick sight seeing trip of Mont Martre and it's magnificent views over Paris before heading back to Euro Star.
While on the train coming back we were given a second glass of Kir Royal which is a champagne with blackberry Teisseire again it is so nice, and what a lovely end to a busy day.
Teisserie Sirop is available in the following flavours:
Passion fruit, Raspberry, Lemon, Caramel, Mojito, my favourite pink grapefruit Hazelnut , Vanilla , Blackberry and of course the French favourite Grenadine
One thing about the sirop range's they can be added to hot or cold drinks for some interesting ways to liven up your drinks , why not have a look at www.teisseire.com for some great drink recipes
