Ingredients
- RYVITA Sunflower Seeds & Oats Crispbread
- 1 pack cooked chicken slices, cut into small pieces (roughly 160g)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mango chutney
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 2 small figs, peeled and chopped
- 50g blueberries, cut in half
- 1 small snack pack raisins
Method
- Mix all of the ingredients together and dollop on Sunflower Seed & Crispbread. It is as easy as that, enjoy!
The science: To develop toppings for the sunflower seeds and oats crispbread, ingredients that had the highest compatibility scores with oats were determined. Amongst the most dominant aromas in oats are (E,E)-2,4-decadienal and (E,E)-2,4-nonadienal. These are also amongst the most dominant aromas in raisins! Therefore, the topping for this crispbread included raisins. Chicken, blueberries and fig also had high compatibility scores with oats, so a coronation chicken-style topping was developed for this crispbread.
