Red Nose Day is to help Comic Relief raise money for disadvantaged children in the UK and Africa and everyday a new Nose is released to help us all get involved.
This year, dinosaur Red Noses are the trend and PEZ are doing their bit to help this great cause.
The sweet dispenser company have created three new Red Nose Day PEZ Dinosesaurs dispensers called Dinomite, Triceytops and T-Spex.
The dispensers are stocked in Sainsbury’s, TopShop, B&M Bargains and many other retailers nationwide.
To do their bit for charity, PEZ will donate 5p from every dispenser sold to Comic Relief!
Gabriele Hofinger, Head of Marketing at PEZ, said, “We are so excited to be involved with Red Nose Day, one of the biggest fundraising initiatives in the UK, which is celebrating 25 successful years in 2013.
“Through sales of our limited edition Dinosesaur PEZ dispensers, together with other fun initiatives that we have up our sleeves, we hope to raise as much money as possible for Comic Relief.”
Austrian company PEZ makes around 65 million dispensers and 4.6 billion sweets a year.
Since 1962, it has been putting character heads on the top of PEZ dispensers, including Moshi Monsters, Elvis, a range of Disney characters, Lord of the Rings and even an exclusive Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge dispenser to celebrate the Royal Wedding in 2011.
Kevin Cahill, CEO of Comic Relief said, “The Red Nose Day PEZ Dinosesaurs dispensers are a great product that will be jumping off the shelves and will raise crucial cash to help fund the life-saving work of Comic Relief at home in the UK and in Africa.”
