The beautiful Kirstie Allsopp has got her Audrey Hepburn on as part of Comic Relief’s Menu Relief.
Menu Relief is being launched for the first time and is encouraging Brits to dine out across the country to raise money for Comic Relief.
Over 300 restaurants are taking part in Menu Relief including Café Rouge, Strada, Belgo, Bella Italia, other independent restaurants and BBC2’s ‘Great British Menu Does Comic Relief’ chefs’ restaurants.
Kirstie has recreated one of the most iconic restaurant scenes by transforming into Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Kirstie said, “When I was asked to re-create Audrey Hepburn’s iconic image I was both flattered and terrified in equal measure, but it was so much fun and it’s for such a good cause I couldn’t say no.
“Over the next couple of months I’ll be choosing to eat out at a Red Nose Day’s Menu Relief restaurant, because the money raised will help change lives in the UK and across Africa.”
Claudia Winkleman said, “For people like me who aren’t great at cooking, eating out at a Menu Relief restaurant is the perfect solution. My husband gets a great meal out without any burnt bits and I get to enjoy my evening!”
Menu Relief runs from now until Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March. By dining out and donating to Comic Relief there’s an opportunity to help people living unimaginably tough lives across the UK and Africa. To find your nearest Menu Relief restaurant go to www.rednoseday.com/menurelief
