Hello everyone,
So this week I am in sunny Thailand, in the beautiful Koh Samui! I have only been here a few days so you will have to wait till my next column when I will share some of my top places to eat which are allergen friendly. I did some research before I went and have already marked a few places on the Biteappy App which I will be visiting. Everyone is really busy in life but it is always important to try and take a break, whether you go abroad or retreat to the countryside for a few days, it is good to clear your head and mind every once and a while.
I find it really hard to stop and take time for myself, as does my boyfriend because we both own our own businesses we are constantly on the go, so it is really important for us to have some rest and recovery every once and a while. If you have any suggestions of where I should eat in Koh Samui, feel free to tweet me @biteappy or write on the Biteappy Facebook page! Sharing is caring in the allergen and special diet world.
I am currently trying to experiment a bit more with raw food, I have been a few places where it as been excellent and I do find with raw food it has to be extremely tasty and full of flavour. I have tried making a few things but I am working on some good recipes to share with you so watch this space.
This week I Nutella, I absolutely love Nutella, but the more I have discovered and become conscious of what is in the food you eat, the more I try and make my own ways of trying to create my childhood food cravings. So this is an excellent way of making Nutella, for me it is better than the real thing, a lot nuttier, you know exactly what is in it and it is perfect on toast. Have a go at making it, it takes hardly any time at all

Restaurant Hangout of the Week
This week I have been over to Lewes, this gorgeous market town just outside Brighton is so pretty. Fabulous on a summers day for a walk and they have a little market on a Sunday. We tend to meet friends here on a weekend as it is a lot quieter than the hustle and bustle you get in Brighton. Our spot to go is Bill's restaurant. Although a small chain, it has really kept to its roots of homemade, organic and healthy menu.
The staff are so accommodating here, they will let you have what you want and just amend bits you can't have in regards to your diet and intolerances, plus they have gluten free bread. The drinks are wonderful and so is the afternoon tea although I could only have the Marshmallow! I had the Vegetarian Meze with gluten free bread and swapped the halloumi for chicken so made it not so veggie! Highly recommend the food here, never disappointed.
Top Tip of the week
Addicted to fizzy or flavoured drinks? have a solution to help you slowly take yourselves away from these. I was watching Keeping up with the Kardashians the other day, they are fantastic for product placement and one of the things they were chatting about were these water bottles with fruit infusers.
So I decided to test it out, I bought one from amazon called Avoin and I am addicted! You chop up fruit or veggies and pop it in the middle and the water infuses the flavours, so delicious! My favourite flavours so far are chopped up apple and chopped up cucumber. Give it a go!
