We’re all getting a little giddy at the thought of Easter and all those chocolate eggs so to save us all from going crazy, Kelly’s of Cornwall Ice Cream have created this bread and butter pudding recipe.
It’s really simple to make and will satisfying your sweet craving perfectly!
Here’s what you need and how to make it –
Bread and Butter Pudding
Ingredients:
25g/1oz butter
8 slices bread
50g/2oz sultanas/ mixed fruit
2tsp cinnamon
350ml/12floz milk
50ml/2floz double cream
2 eggs
25g/1oz demarera suga

Method:
Grease 2pint/1L pie dish
Cut crusts off bread and butter one side
Cut into triangles and arrange a layer of bread in the dish add a layer of sultanas and
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Then repeat the layers until the bread is used up.
Whisk the milk, cream and eggs together and gently pour over the bread. Sprinkle a little sugar on top.
Leave to stand for 30mins
Place in pre-heated oven at 180C/355F/gas 4 for approx 30 mins or until golden brown.
