Mascarpone Mushroom and Garlic pate with crisp breads, by James Tanner

Third in the series is this delicious mascarpone mushroom and garlic pate recipe, great for parties as it can be served with almost anything.

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 20g unsalted butter
  • 150g sliced chestnut mushrooms
  • 3 large cloves chopped garlic
  • Splash of brandy
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Splash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 150g mascarpone
  • Small handful of chopped curly parsley

You'll also need two ramekins to serve the pate in.
