If you're the kind of person who needs to be seen at the coolest places, then rejoice, because TripAdvisor has just released its list of top ten UK restaurants, based on the number of reviews they have on its website.
Surprisingly, the list seems to realise that London isn't the only place in Britain, with only three of the ten restaurants located in the capital. It also includes the best of Scotland, with a family-run Indian restaurant based in Edinburgh, and another authentic Indian in Glasgow.
It ranges from the predictable celebrity haunts, such as Jamie Oliver's Italian in Inverclyde, Scotland, to the more unknown and intimate locations, like Manchester's San Carlo.
TripAdvisor spokesperson Emma Shaw said: “With the number of restaurants across the UK diners are spoilt for choice, but these restaurants have clearly created a buzz among the nation’s diners.
"With over 66,500 British restaurants listed on TripAdvisor, it’s fantastic to see such an eclectic mix make it into the 10 most talked about restaurant list".
