Jamie Oliver Crowned Top Christmas Celebrity Chef
We all need a bit of help when it comes to cooking the turkey this Christmas, and it appears that most of us will be turning to Jamie Oliver.
The survey, conducted by VoucherCodes.co.uk, showed the cheeky chef beat off all the other celebrity chefs including Nigella and Gordon Ramsey.
Celebrity chefs are now so popular that half the UK says they’ll be using their recipe books to help them prepare this year’s Christmas meal.
A third of people will be making Jamie Oliver dishes this Christmas day while a fifth say Nigella Lawson is their festive food inspiration.
Delia Smith came a close third, with 19 per cent relying on her tried and tested recipes.
Despite his Christmas Cookalong show returning to our screens for its second year this Christmas Day, just over one in ten people say they’ll be using a Ramsay recipe.
And whilst most will be sticking to more traditional dishes for their festive feast, 8 per cent will be taking a leaf out of Heston Blumenthal’s book and attempting some molecular gastronomy.
