Paul Daly, internationally acclaimed designer has produced a special edition bottle of Jameson ahead of St. Patrick’s Day. The bottle marks one of Ireland’s most celebrated days, and provides the perfect opportunity for Jameson drinkers across the UK to have a true taste of the Irish celebrations on this special day.
The contemporary bottle design was inspired by the legendary Celtic illustrations in The Book of Kells, but sees Paul introduce his unique contemporary artistic eye to capture the true Irish spirit of Jameson. The limited edition Jameson bottle will be available from mid-February in multiple UK retailers as well as in Paul’s two London bars, Zigfrid Von Underbelly in Hoxton Square and Roadtrip & The Workshop on Old Street
The uniqueness of the design and limited number of bottles, including 50 bottles which will be signed by Paul Daly, makes this new edition a definite eye-catcher and collectors item.
Paul Daly commented: “As an Irishman who has spent much of his life living abroad, the opportunity to fuse my interests in Irish culture with art and a truly Irish brand like Jameson, was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse. Saint Patrick’s Day is always a fun-filled celebration of the Irish, and it was a great experience creating something that drinkers around the world could enjoy on the big day.”
Patrick Venning, Head of Marketing for Jameson at Pernod Ricard UK, says: “As the number one Irish whiskey, our vision is to give Jameson lovers the perfect opportunity to make the most of the St Patrick’s Day celebrations. Working with Paul has enabled us to create a contemporary and premium design which has given Jameson a unique St. Patrick’s Day twist so that everyone can enjoy some true Irish Spirit.”
