New Häagen-Dazs Meringue and Raspberry Fondant
If you can remember the dizzy days of 2008, then there's a chance you'll remember the amazing Raspberries & Meringue Limited Edition ice cream flavour from Häagen-Dazs. What? We don't let dessert rule our life, honest.
For those (sane) amongst you who perhaps don't remember, let us refresh your memory: it was inspired by classic dessert Eton Mess and created by crazy but great celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal.
It tasted awesome but sadly, as is always the way with Häagen-Dazs' limited edition range, it was only available for six months.
If you missed out on it, or just miss it, never fear: Häagen-Dazs have just released Meringue and Raspberry Fondant Secret Sensations, inspired by the popular limited edition flavour.
Complementing the existing Secret Sensations range of Chocolate Fondant and Crème Brulee, the Meringue and Raspberry Fondant is a combination of creamy vanilla ice cream and crunchy meringue chunks, with a delicious raspberry heart. Is it going to be a decadent dessert that will make us throw our diets out the window? Yes. Are we going to get it anyway? Hell, yes.
The Meringue and Raspberry Fondant Secret Sensations are available from this month, and come in packs of two for sharing (or being extra greedy).
