Red Nose Day is creeping up on us and The Great British Bake Off have jumped on board and have done a Red Nose Day series called the The Great Comic Relief Bake Off.
The series starts tonight on BBC 2 at 8:30pm and we’ve got a clip of the episode showing Jo brand, Stephen K Amos, Ingrid Oliver and Lorna Watson donning their aprons and getting messy in the kitchen, enjoy!
The mini-series which runs from tonight until the 24th January on BBC 2 will show 16 celebrities showing off their baking talents and battling fiercely for the title.
They will be judged by legendary cookery writer Mary Berry and acclaimed Master Baker Paul Hollywood.
The celebrities that will be put through their paces are Andy Akinwolere, Stephen K Amos, Duncan Bannatyne, Julia Bradbury, Jo Brand, Ed Byrne, Warwick Davis, Helen Glover, Martha Kearney, Bob Mortimer, Ingrid Oliver, Simon Reeve, Ellie Simmonds, Kirsty Wark, Lorna Watson and Claudia Winkleman.
The series will also follow Lorraine Pascale as she visits a number of Comic Relief funded projects in Ghana to show how the money raised this Red Nose Day could help change lives.
It is hoped that the show will inspire the nation to get creative in the kitchen and host their own bake sales to raise money for those living incredibly tough lives in the UK and in Africa.
