Fresh tuna steaks are ready to eat in just a few minutes and they taste fantastic cooked with a splash of white wine, lemon zest, olives and Pasta Sauce.

Perfect as a smart home-from-work supper served with lightly cooked vegetables or salad.

Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil
2 fresh tuna steaks
100ml dry white wine
Finely grated zest of 1 lemon
Handful of olives
1 x 350g jar Dolmio Taste of Italy Tomato & Chilli Pasta Sauce
Baby vegetables, to serve

Directions

Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick frying pan.Add the tuna steaks and cook over a high heat for 1 minute on each side. Pour in the wine and let it bubble up for a few moments.

Add the lemon zest and olives, then tip in the jar of Pasta Sauce and heat until simmering.

Lower the heat and cook gently for 3-4 minutes.

Serve with lightly cooked baby vegetables.

Cook’s tip: You could cook chicken breasts in exactly the same way as the tuna steaks, though cook them in the olive oil for 4-5 minutes per side before adding the wine.
