In our weekly feature on the ins and outs in women's sport, we give you details about Park Sung-hyun's meeting with Tiger Woods, news from the table-topping Women's Super League clash between Manchester City and Chelsea, and all the action from the Women's Six Nations.

Cricket

Pakistan have taken the honours in their ODI series against the West Indies after winning the final match by four wickets.

The Windies thrashed their hosts by 146 runs in the opener with Deandra Dottin (96 and 3/14) powering them to a convincing win, but Pakistan hit back in the second match with a 34-run win.

Sidra Ameen (96) and Nida Dar (81) laid the foundations for their score of 240 all out and Diana Baig starred with the ball as her 4/34 was crucial as the Windies were bowled out for 204.

In the series-decider, the Windies could only manage 150 all out with Stefanie Taylor (52) scoring the bulk of her side's runs as Baig and Nashra Sandhu shared six wickets between them.

Ameen then anchored the chase with 52 as the hosts completed the win in the 48th over.

Over in New Zealand, the Kiwis whitewashed India 3-0 in their Twenty20 International series on the back of Sophie Devine's brilliance.

Opener Devine hit a 48-ball 62 in the first match as New Zealand won by 23 runs and she again made 62 in the second match as the hosts won a final-ball thriller as they chased down India's 135 to win with four wickets remaining.

With the series already in the back, New Zealand then put the icing on the cake as they won the third T20 by just two runs.

Batting first, they scored 161 for seven with, yes you guessed it, Devine top-scoring with 72 from 52 balls and the bowlers then restricted India to 159 for four in their 20 overs.

Football

In the Women's Super League all eyes were on the Academy Stadium in Manchester as table toppers Manchester City hosted defending champions Chelsea.

It was all going according to script for the hosts when Tessa Wullaert and Georgia Stanway fired them into a 2-0 lead inside the opening half hour.

But the visitors struck twice in the second half through Ji So-yun with the South Korean reducing the deficit in the 50th minute with a close-range effort and then equalising one minute from full-time with a deflected free kick.

The draw put a dent into City's title hopes as they are now just two points ahead of Arsenal, who have two games in hand.

In other WSL results, Bristol City and Brighton played to a goalless draw while Everton's home game against Birmingham was postponed.

In the Women's FA Cup postponed fixtures, Reading routed fourth-tier Keynsham 13-0 with England international Fara Williams scoring five while Liverpool notched up six goals in their win over MK Dons.

Birmingham City beat Yeovil 3-1 at Yeovil, Millwall Lionesses beat Lewes 1-0, Durham beat Cardiff City 5-1 while third-tier Huddersfield upset Championship side Charlton on penalties.

Fifth-round draw:

  • Liverpool v Millwall Lionesses
  • Bristol City v Durham Women
  • Reading v Birmingham City
  • Chelsea v Arsenal
  • Manchester United v London Bees
  • West Ham United v Huddersfield Town
  • Aston Villa v Sheffield United
  • Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City

As for the Women's League Cup, defending champion Arsenal will take on Manchester City in the final after Vivianne Miedema scored twice to steer the Gunners to a 2-1 win over Championship outfit Manchester United.

On Wednesday, England striker Nikita Parris hit the back of the net twice as Manchester City beat Chelsea 2-0 at Kingsmeadow.

The final will take place at Bramall Lane in Sheffield on February 23.

The LPGA Tour has a French winner for the first time in nearly two decades after Celine Boutier won the Vic Open in Australia.

Patricia Meunier-Lebouc was the last Frenchwoman to win on the Tour back in 2003, but Boutier has ended her country's drought as she won by two strokes with an even-par round of 72 in the final round at Barwon Heads.

"I’m super excited with the way I handled myself. It’s not always easy to be able to get your first win," Boutier said.

"It’s been something I’ve been working toward since I turned pro."

Australian duo Sarah Kemp and Su Oh, and England's Charlotte Thomas were tied for second at six-under-par.

In what is no doubt a career-highlight, world No 3 Park Sung-hyun got to meet Tiger Woods during the filming of TaylorMade/Solaire commercials in Florida.

The South Korean has always been a Woods fan and admitted she "shed tears" when Woods returned to winning ways and won his 80th title in 2018.

And now she can say she has met him.

Meanwhile, world No 12 Jessica Korda won’t defend her Thailand Open title as she has not fully recovered from the wrist injury she sustained last year.

Rugby

England's women laid down the marker for the 2019 Women's Six Nations by dismantling reigning Grand Slam champions France in their second game.

The hosts humbled France 41-26 France in Doncaster with wing Jess Breach and forward Poppy Cleall scoring a brace while fly-half Kelly Smith, lock Cath O'Donnell and replacement prop Hannah Botterman also crossed the white line.

To put England's win into perspective, France won last year's Grand Slam having conceded only 23 points in their five matches. On Sunday England put 41 points on the board.

The visitors, though, did pick up a bonus point as scrum-half Pauline Bourdon (2), lock Safi N'Diaye and loose-forward Romane Menager scored tries.

Red Roses captain Sarah Hunter warns that there is still a long way to go in the 2019 competition though.

"We’re not going to get carried away just yet – the Six Nations is a long tournament," she said.

"We have three difficult fixtures coming up. We can’t rest on our laurels, we can’t switch off.

"We will rest, recover and refocus during the week break and think about how we do a 80 minute performance against Wales.

"We’re not thinking of anything beyond that."

Week two got underway on Friday when Scotland hosted Ireland and it was the visitors who won 22-5 with wing Alison Miller, prop Leah Lyons, lock Aoife McDermott and loose-forward Anna Caplice scoring tries.

In the third game of the weekend, it was a drab affair between Italy and Wales in Lecce with the match ending in a 3-3 draw.

What a weekend of Fed Cup tennis!

In the World Group, Romania and Australia produced the results of the weekend as they accounted for the Czech Republic and the United States' exits respectively.

Romania reached their first-ever Fed Cup semi-finals when they stunned the defending champions the Czech Republic at home with former world No 1 Simona Halep leading the way.

Over in America, Ashleigh Barty was not to be outdone as she proved to be the difference as Australia beat the United States 3-2.

Barty won both her singles rubbers and teamed up with Priscilla Hon in the doubles to send Australia into a last-four tie against Belarus.

Romania will meet France in the other semi-final.
