25-year-old model Sasha Attwood may best be known to football fans as the girlfriend of £100 million Manchester City winger and midfielder Jack Grealish, 26, but the young woman has carved out a bountiful and successful career on her own, which will soon see her become the face of cosmetics company, L’Oreal.

The French firm is reported to have signed up Attwood on a deal potentially worth millions, with a source saying that conversations had resulted in an agreement being reached in May 2022.

"She has a big social media following and is inundated with big offers, so they wanted to make sure they had her signed up," said the source to MailOnline.

"She will star on adverts on digital platforms such as TikTok."

The claims are backed up by the fact that Attwood was spotted with L'Oreal bosses at the Cannes Film Festival, where she stunned on the red carpet at an event celebrating 25 years of the brand.

Attwood would follow in the footsteps of Cheryl Tweedy, who ended her multi-million-pound contract with the company in 2018. Other big names who have worked with L'Oreal include Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez and Penelope Cruz.

With over 142,000 followers on Instagram - where she goes by the name Sasha Rebecca - Attwood is clearly going to be in demand for the foreseeable, by companies hoping to get countless eyes on their products. Unlike many other influencers however, she seems to be pickier when it comes to putting paid-for ads in the spotlight.

Very private about her relationship with Grealish, Attwood and the celebrated footballer have enjoyed a blossoming romance since the age of 15, when they met at high school in Solihull, just outside of Birmingham.

Now dubbed as ‘the next Posh and Becks’, the power couple are no stranger to making headlines, with Grealish in particular praised one minute for his love for the game and connection to the fans, whilst being bashed the next for enjoying himself on boozy nights out.

Attwood’s career being elevated to this next level may see her faced with the same sort of criticism. There have been countless wives and girlfriends of footballers who have been reduced to tabloid fodder in the past, regardless of their own personal work and lives. Hopefully, that’s something the British media can move on from, helping to lift women like Attwood up, rather than doing so to simply tear them down a few months later.

At just 13, Attwood was scouted by a modelling agency and since then, has been working hard to climb what can be a very brutal industry ladder. In September last year (2021), she bagged a job with Boohoo, which would mark her first major fashion deal.

This year could also see her sign on the dotted line with Netflix, who are reportedly looking for a group of women connected to high-profile footballers, to star in a behind-the-scenes reality series filming during the World Cup, which is scheduled to take place between November and December 2022, in Qatar.

It seems the sky is the limit for Attwood; we can’t wait to see where her career takes her next.
