We can’t get enough of podcasts here at Female First. That’s why every week, we’re reviewing our favourite one to binge-listen to.
The great thing about podcasts is how conveniently simple they are to consume – you could be driving, cooking, working out – they require no visual engagement. All you need is a handy device to listen on, and you can go about your daily life listening to whatever you enjoy.
From crime to comedy, history to health, there’s something for everyone in the wonderful world of audio programmes.
Our favourite podcast this week is: Man in the Window
Why? The creepy title and the creepier artwork caught our attention. And though it's incredibly terrifying, it's addictive!
Who’s the host? This podcast comes from the LA Times.
What’s it about? This is a piece of investigative journalism, not for the faint hearted. With graphic material of violence and sexual nature, this podcast takes a look at the case of Joseph James DeAngelo Jr., who stands accused of 13 murder, 50 rapes and a suspected 225 home invasions.
“To an early love interest, Joe DeAngelo was energetic and worldly. Now, nearly 50 years later, he stands accused of an extended spasm of violence - home invasions, rapes, murders - in the 1970s and ‘80s” - Paige St John, LA Times.
Where can I listen? You can listen to Man in the Window on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
