We can’t get enough of podcasts here at Female First. That’s why every week, we're showcasing one of our favourites so you can go and listen, and enjoy them too!

The great thing about podcasts is how simple they are to consume – you could be driving, cooking, working out – they require no visual engagement. All you need is a handy device to listen on, and you can go about your daily life listening to whatever you like.

From crime to comedy, history to health, there’s something for everyone in the wonderful world of audio programmes.

This week, we're taking a look at the brilliant Drag Her! A RuPaul's Drag Race Podcast.

Who are the hosts and what's it about?

RuPaul's Drag Race super-fans and comedy queens Nicole Byer and Mano Agapion take on hosting duties for the most-recent season of Drag Her!, with the pair currently taking a look back at the infamous first season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. For Drag Race fans, it's a welcome throwback to a time when the All Stars series was clouded with controversy, because of new competition rules that forced the returning drag queens to compete in pairs.

Years after broadcast, with the fury surrounding the format having subsided, it's surprisingly fun to go back and reminisce about the monster Ru and fellow Drag Race producers created. This was at a time when the queens on the show didn't care too much about holding back in front of the cameras; instead, it was all about being real, whether or not that would mean the public liked them.

For those who haven't listened to the seasons of Drag Her! that have already gone by, they're also worth listening to if you've watched the most recent seasons of Drag Race. Hosts have changed as the show's grown and evolved, but every single episode is guaranteed to make you laugh if you're a Drag Race fan.

Where can I listen?

Available on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify for free, there's no excuse not to indulge!
