We can’t get enough of podcasts here at Female First. That’s why every week, we’re reviewing our favourite one to binge-listen to.
The great thing about podcasts is how conveniently simple they are to consume – you could be driving, cooking, working out – they require no visual engagement. All you need is a handy device to listen on, and you can go about your daily life listening to whatever you enjoy.
From crime to comedy, history to health, there’s something for everyone in the wonderful world of audio programmes.
Our favourite podcast this week is a brand new one - Analysis of Murder by Dr. Phil.
Why? True crime is the hottest topic in the world of podcasting right now. There are so many different podcasts out there that cover true crime, so it’s always a bonus when you find one that stands out.
Who’s the host? Dr. Phil hosts the podcast (it’s kind of in the name) and it’s not his first. The American TV personality and psychologist already hosts a successful podcast - Phil in the (blanks) where he speaks to a range of celebrities about their lives.
What’s it about? Everyone knows Dr Phil primarily for his role as a television personality, but the basis of his career comes from his extensive psychological background. In this podcast he uses his knowledge and experience to explore the mind of a cold-blooded killer. Listen as he takes you inside the twisted minds of some of the most notorious murderers - a fascinating topic that covers some of the most gruesome true crime stories.
Where can I listen? The new series is available on Apple Podcasts and Stitcher.
