Zoe Saldana says being focused on yourself doesn't have to mean being selfish.
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star recently revealed she had finally "prioritised" her workout, after letting "life" get in the way, and has urged those suffering the same time conflicts to make sure they focus on themselves sometimes too.
Writing on her official Facebook page, she said: "I made it! After a week of postponing my workout due to life & meetings & work, I prioritized it.
"I prioritized myself. A good friend once told me that being self-focussed doesn't necessarily mean you are being selfish. Be self-focussed! (sic)"
The 36-year-old actress previously revealed she has been hitting the gym hard since giving birth to twin boys Cy and Bowie - who she has with husband Marco Perego - in November last year.
She wrote previously: "As you all know, we welcomed twin boys last November. Yes, by far, the most amazing experience of my life, but also a very challenging experience when it pertains to my body...
"Your body changes dramatically, inside and out... In some cases more than others, your body experiences a kind of trauma through childbirth that is difficult to explain unless you've had that experience.
"My case was like that, everything from my thyroid to my platelets crashed. Thank God, we are all doing great now, but my body was really bent out of shape after the boys were born. (sic)"
