The 'Work Hard, Play Hard' hitmaker - who was rumoured to have cheated on the 31-year-old model - split from the star and divorce papers were served but the couple appear to have rekindled their relationship after he reportedly got down on his knees to ask for her understanding.
A source said: "[Wiz] hates himself more than anyone can imagine for putting Amber on blast when they were fighting. He feels that he disrespected her as a wife, as a woman and most importantly, as a mother.
"When they were discussing this recently, Wiz got down on his knees and asked Amber to forgive him for hurting her. He asked her to forgive him for publicly humiliating her and saying s**t he shouldn't have said."
The 27-year-old rapper - who has two-year-old son Sebastian with Amber - shared a "passionate night" with his wife once the pair had worked out their differences.
The source added to HollywoodLife.com: "Amber was in tears and told him she forgave him.
"They hugged and kissed and that led to one of their many passionate nights."
The pair spent the weekend with their son at Tamar Braxton's Easter party in Calabasas, Los Angeles.
