Robert Downey Jr

Robert Downey Jr

Black Eyed Peas front man Will.I.Am has voiced that he would like to work with Robert Downey Jr on what would be Downey Jr's second studio album.

Will.I.Am has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Sir Mick Jagger, Cheryl Cole and many more, so adding another to his list would be a great accomplishment.

Downey Jr is best known for his roles in Sherlock Holmes and Iron Man, in both he plays the lead characters.

However, Downey Jr had been known to lend his voice to a number of songs made for films he was starring in.

In 2004 Downey Jr recorded an album entitled The Futurist, which he penned 8/10 of the songs himself.

Unfortunatley for Will.I.Am Downey Jr said after the release of The Futurist he would probably not make another album because the amount of effort he put into it was not compensated.

Although the album was well recieved it only reached 121 on the US Billboard chart, and was practically unknown in the UK.

Will.I.Am said "I would like to work with Robert Downey Jr... That guy sings."

Will.I.Am is a persuasive man though, so perhaps knowing that he had the talent and driving force behind him Downey Jr might reconsider his statement and lend his voice once again to a studio album.
