Stephen Fry is "proud" of the British public's reaction to his recent wedding.

The 57-year-old entertainer tied the knot with his 27-year-old partner, writer Elliot Spencer, in January and has revealed he's been overwhelmed by the response of the public.
Speaking during his first TV interview since the nuptials, he told 'The Jonathan Ross Show': "It's just so moving, I find it wonderful and I'm so proud to live in a country where that seems to be the absolute majority view.
"And long may it be and I'm sure in a very short time, it won't even be worth considering a mention [because gay marriage will be commonplace]."
Meanwhile, Stephen is currently preparing to host his 10th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) at London's Royal Opera House on Sunday (08.02.15), but has revealed he doesn't think he will be presenting the event next year.
He said: "This is my tenth coming up. They're probably going to replace me, if not before this particular one ... but I think that might be pushing it, straight afterwards.
"I never take it for granted, it's nice to do, but I can fully see why they would probably want someone new very soon. Institutions are good but a part of them is about moving on and getting a new one."
