Ed Sheeran recorded a touching wedding message for a terminally ill fan and his new wife.
The 24-year-old star recorded the clip for leukaemia sufferer Jack Jordan, 23, and his fiancee Laura Cant, who he was due to marry after having a life-saving bone marrow transplant.
However, the pair were forced to bring their marriage forward and wed in the hospital chapel after Jack was told he had missed out on the surgery because his cancer had advanced too far, meaning he had less than three weeks to live.
In his message, Ed says: "Hey Jack and Laura, Ed here! Sorry I can't be there, I'm in New Zealand just doing a tour.
"Hope you have an amazing wedding. Drink a lot, dance a lot and have a lot of sex."
Earlier this week, it was revealed Ed sent flowers to a grieving fan when he was unable to grant her request to sing at her boyfriend's funeral.
Rachel Murray asked the 'Sing' hitmaker to perform at the funeral of her partner Lee Foster - who died aged 24 following a battle with skin cancer - but he couldn't because of his tour commitments.
Rachel explained: "Lee was just a normal lad. He was fun-loving and loved life. He had a constant battle with cancer for 15 months but was so positive the whole way through. You wouldn't even know he was ill.
"He absolutely loved Ed Sheeran. He was listening to him in the hospice before he died."
