The 34-year-old reality TV star and her husband Kanye West, 37, only moved into their $20 million property in Calabasas, California, recently but their 21-month-old daughter North has already claimed a number of rooms as her own.

Speaking to E! News, Kim said: "Oh, it's like she's taken over [the house] already. We have her playroom and she loves her room ... She loves having her own space."

The couple, who got married last May, snapped up the plush home last summer but the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' beauty has admitted they've still got a lot of renovation work to do.

She explained: "We have to re-do my closet, the bathroom, the kitchen. So we're doing, like, section by section, but living there. It is so freeing, living in my own space.

But the blonde stunner believes the mansion will be "amazing" when it's finished completely.

The family were staying at Kim's mother Kris Jenner's home for a year-and-a-half while they found the perfect place of their own.

And Kim is pleased she's finally able to have her own space because staying with Kris gave her a "headache."

She explained: "I've lived in a one-bedroom room at my mum's house that was so crazy-colourful that I was getting a headache every time I would go in the room. Imagine me, Kanye and my daughter, and we had a tiny closet for the three of us, and it just feels so good just to have my own space and my own bed."
