Nick Lachey thinks his wife Vanessa is a "trooper."

The 34-year-old TV personality only gave birth to her second child, daughter Brooklyn, two months ago but she's already thrown herself back into work and her 41-year-old spouse thinks it's amazing how she's juggling her career and motherhood.
Speaking to PEOPLE.com, he said: "She's a trooper. She's been out auditioning and actually just booked a pilot.
"So in the middle of raising two kids she's out there in the world still doing her career stuff."
The singer-songwriter, who also has two-year-old son Camden with the brunette beauty, was also impressed with how quickly his lover sprung back into shape after giving birth.
He explained: "She just hit the ground running. As soon as she was able to get back in the gym, she took full advantage of that. She's always been in shape. It's kind of always been a staple of who she is. I think it was a huge obstacle to get it back. But it's tough, you have to dedicate yourself to it and she definitely has."
Meanwhile, the hunky star isn't looking forward to baby Brooklyn hitting her teenage years but has already come up with a plan to ensure she doesn't give him too much attitude.
He said: "I think the greatest thing I've been told is that you have to have a good relationship with your daughter. There has to be that mutual respect and if she respects you and she's close to dad then she'll make those right decisions. But it's intimidating, you worry about things with your little girl that you frankly just don't worry about with your little boy."
