Michael Bublé Was a 'Jerk' in Relationships

Michael Bublé was a "jerk" to the women he used to date.

The 39-year-old singer - who romanced Emily Blunt from 2005 until 2008 - has reminisced on his past "careless" attitude towards relationships and believes karma came round to haunt him.

Speaking on the Canadian show 'eTalk', he said: "I was a jerk and I was careless and reckless with the hearts of women I was with.

"And I got my karma. I earned it. I got my butt and heart kicked and it hurt me enough that I looked in the mirror and I didn't want it to happen again."

The 'It's A Beautiful Day' hitmaker has admitted his questionable actions in the past brought him closer to his spirituality and it made him realise that needs to grab life by both hands.

He explained: "I think everyone looks back at some of the things we did and it's so cringy how I acted. I learned about myself, I got closer to being spiritual and learned to be in the moment and realize how short life is. It changed everything."

The hunky star is now married to Argentinean actress Luisana Lopilato, whom he tied the knot with in 2011, and has 18-month-old son Noah with her.

And Michael believes he's the happiest he's ever been because he's able to just himself both in his personal life and on stage.

He said: "The reason to be a good guy isn't for the person you're with, it's for you. That sounds weird but I like me better now. I'm happier now. I'm better at what I do, I'm better on stage because I'm not pretending to be the guy I want to be."
