Mel B will move back to the UK for her job on 'The X Factor'.

The former Spice Girls star was yesterday (12.06.14) confirmed as the fourth and final judge for the upcoming series of the ITV talent show, and it's now been reported that one of the conditions of her £1 million contract is that she must live in Britain for the duration of the live shows in order to give her contestants her undivided attention as a mentor.

The 39-year-old star - who also has TV judging roles in the US and Australia - was asked to fully commit herself by making the move from Australia to England, as show boss Simon Cowell wanted to avoid a situation similar to previous judge Kelly Rowland, who was forced to miss one of the live shows after falling ill while in the US.

Mel's spokesman told The Sun newspaper: "It's important to Simon that Mel give it the time needed."

Meanwhile, Mel's fellow judge Cheryl Cole - who announced her return to 'The X Factor' earlier this year - is said to have rubbished rumours of a rivalry between the pair.

A source close to the 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer told the Metro newspaper: "Everyone thinks there is some huge beef between Cheryl and Mel but there isn't.

"Cheryl is happy it is another woman and she thinks she will work well with Mel as they are both very feisty.

"Cheryl is just going to focus on the show and wants to find the winner."
