Kirsten Dunst has been cast in the second series of 'Fargo'.
The 32-year-old actress and 'Breaking Bad' star Jesse Plemons, 26, are to play married couple Peggy and Ed Blomquist in the TV drama.
According to broadcaster FX, Peggy is "a small-town beautician with big city dreams", while Ed is a butcher's assistant "who wants to be supportive of his wife's self-discovery, even if he doesn't quite understand it".
The next series is set in 1976 - 30 years before the events of the first season - and the story will take place in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Luverne, Minnesota.
Series creator Noah Hawley has revealed the plot will focus on a case being investigated by a younger Lou Solverson - Molly's father in the first series, played by Keith Carradine - who has recently returned from the Vietnam War.
Molly will appear as a four year old and her mother, Lou's wife, will also feature
Shooting on series two is due to start in Calgary, Canada, in January and it is scheduled to air next autumn.
The first season of 'Fargo' - which involved a murder cover-up - starred Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton and Allison Tolman as Deputy Molly Solverson and won three Emmy Awards.
