Johnny Depp has been reunited with the cocaine dealer he played in 'Blow' following his release from prison.
The 51-year-old Hollywood star met former drugs boss George Jung, 72, the man who inspired the 2001 film and was released in June following a 20-year stint in a New Jersey prison.
Depp invited him to his loft in downtown Los Angeles, where they spent hours chatting with his fiancée Amber Heard.
The three of them discussed a wide range of topics that included poetry, books and the movie's late director Ted Demme, according to gossip website TMZ.
The meeting is the first encounter between the two men since Depp visited Jung in prison in 2001.
In a letter regarding their meeting, Depp later wrote: "It's very rare in life that any person opens up their heart and soul to you with unlimited access to their most profound thoughts, dreams, fears, regrets, intimacies.
"Even more rare when you've just met that person and, because of the obvious predicament, it's highly unlikely that you will be spending too much time with them in the near future. So for this and more, I owe a great debt of gratitude to George."
