Joey Essex is "really happy" with Sam Faiers.
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' stars rekindled their relationship after Sam revealed she'd been diagnosed with Crohn's disease following her stint in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house and Joey's admitted they're enjoying being back together away from the cameras.
He said: "We're taking it slow. We're really happy and it's just nice to have a relationship away from 'TOWIE'."
Joey's cousin and 'TOWIE' regular Chloe Sims - who had a brief relationship with co-star Mario Falcone in the last series - claimed he and Sam could be getting engaged again now that they were back together, but Joey has denied he is planning to propose.
He said: "I didn't know about that. We're really happy."
Meanwhile, Joey - who quit the ITV reality series so that he could take part in 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here' last year - has achieved success with his own show 'Educating Joey Essex', while Sam's ex-boyfriend Mark Wright's 'Party Wright Around The World' was criticised by viewers.
Speaking about his success, Joey told new! magazine: "I'm proud of my show and I didn't realise how well it was going to do. That was phenomenal.
"To Mark, I wish him well. Good luck to him with whatever he wants to do next."
