Jessica Chastain would never date another actor.
The 'A Most Violent Year' star - who has been in a relationship Italian fashion executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo for more than two years - has deliberately avoided falling in love on set and thinks being in a celebrity relationship would negatively impact her career.
She explained: "You can choose not to put yourself in a situation where you could fall in love with someone who is probably not right for you.
"I never want people to be sitting in a movie theatre thinking, 'That's Jessica - she's dating so and so... We saw the first pictures of the baby...' I've seen people court all that and there's nothing wrong with it but it's not for me. I'm not in for the sprint. I hope to be like Vanessa Redgrave; I want to be 77 years old and working."
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old star feels lucky she made all of her mistakes before finding fame in 'Zero Dark Thirty' in 2012.
She said: "Sometimes I look back over early stuff and think, oh God, my acting was so terrible! How fantastic that when I was making all my mistakes people weren't really noticing."
But the red-haired beauty claims she was frequently told she "wasn't pretty enough" for Hollywood.
The 'Interstellar' star told the UK's Telegraph magazine: "If I get a role it's because I fought for it. Trust me, it's only been in the past five years that people have been telling me I'm attractive. Before then, I wasn't getting parts because people kept telling me I wasn't pretty enough. But I've come to realise that everyone's idea of what's pretty is so different."
