Jesse Eisenberg says shaving his head for 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' was "terrifying."
The 31-year-old actor, who is known his signature curls, admits it felt "really strange" to be bald on the set of the upcoming blockbuster, in which he plays villain Lex Luthor, because he "came out of the womb with a full head of hair."
He said: "I've never been able to touch my scalp. Yes, it's freezing and yeah, it was really strange."
The Oscar-nominated star was also worried about hurting himself because he had nothing to protect his head.
He told talk show host Seth Meyers: "It's the kind of thing where you felt you could really damage yourself. You want to wear a helmet. It's terrifying. It's terrifying."
Jesse was forced to wear a floral bandana on the set of the film in order to keep fans guessing about his transformation.
He explained: "Everything is shrouded in secrecy, and the people are shrouded in bandanas and the like, so like Superman who is [played by] Henry Cavill, will walk to the set in baggy sweatpants and then they'll take them off [so that nobody can see the suit]."
