Gethin Jones is thinking about getting himself on Tinder.
The former 'Blue Peter' presenter has confessed he's considering signing up for the popular dating app but claims he would like to use it to find a girlfriend rather than to meet women for hook-ups.
He explained: "I went on Tinder with my mate the other day as I find it fascinating.
"I spent some time in America recently and guys there just on it because they want to have sex.
"But I would like to go on there and meet someone nice for a date as it makes it easier. I am 36 now. Where do you meet girls? In a bar? I don't know. It is really difficult to meet people."
'The 21st Question' host - who split from fiancée Katherine Jenkins in 2011 after four years together - admits that he actually went as far as to create an account but decided against activating it and is instead insisting potential suitors should get in touch with him on Twitter.
He told The Sun newspaper: "If women want to find me they can tweet me. That would be lovely if any girls out there fancied a date! We could start a sister show called 'Geth's 21 Girls'."
Gethin also dismissed rumours that he's been romantically involved with 'Total Wipeout' presenter Amanda Byram and actress Kelly Brook.
He added: "Amanda and I became friends after we did a Sport Relief thing together.
"Kelly Brook is another one. I just kind of go, 'The rumours are not the end of the world!' She is not exactly ugly. But it is the boring truth that we are just friends."
